About KQED
KQED MISSION STATEMENT
KQED Public Media provides consistently high quality public media that informs, educates, entertains and engages from a Northern California perspective.
Through the creation and acquisition of programs, the leveraging of our multiple media assets, and strategic partnerships, KQED delivers television, radio, internet and education content that makes people think, feel and explore new ideas.
Our programming and services reflect the value we place on human dignity, lifelong learning and the power of ideas, and on the importance of community service and civic participation.
KQED Public Television
KQED Public Television 9 is one of the nation's most-watched public television stations during primetime. KQED produces and acquires programs that inspire, inform, and entertain the people of Northern California. KQED broadcasts the best available programs from PBS, APT, and other distributors, and also produces its own unique national and local programs, series, and specials. Airing more independent films than any other public broadcasting station in the country, KQED is committed to bringing the work of local and independent film producers to the community. KQED video content is now widely available for streaming and downloads on this site and on iTunes.
Other Info
"Bunny" was chosen to air as part of KQED's Imagemakers program. It will appear with another film, "Chicken Heads" as part of a 27 minute duo "Boys and Their Pets".
PLEASE NOTE ALL TIMES ARE IN PACIFIC TIME AS THE STATION IS BASED IN SAN FRANSISCO.
For those of you who couldn't attend "Bunny"'s premier at Tribeca, this is a great chance to do so!
I guarantee my blog shall include random thoughts, industry updates, bizarre tales of the south that I hear from my parents daily via cell phone and only a few minor rants and raves of being based in Jersey City.
